They say nothing beats the original! When a well-known cosmetic company first approached Weil & Associates to handle their incentive recognition program at the Four Seasons Wailea on Maui, Debbie Weil called us to partner with her to create an unforgettable, fashion-forward reception. As with most events, the location, food and beverage, décor and entertainment took precedence, as they needed to be combined to create a certain atmosphere that would fulfill the wish list of Weil & Associates’ Client.
The product was an elaborate event with bold centerpieces, dramatic linens, a striking catwalk to showcase the Island’s fashion history, culminating in Hawaii’s very own Andy South and a Project Runway fashion show. There were stunning models enshrouded by white butterflies ‘fluttering’ above the catwalk, cool lighting, and a show that impressed almost 400 very fashion conscious Guests!

Fast-forward three months later…Debbie Weil called on us to deliver a similar event, for another group from the same company, but under different circumstances. The Client’s wish list still called for fabulousness but without the previous costs attached. We took the challenge head-on and pumped up the creativity even though we weren’t able to include all the same details as the previous affair. The result was a very effective event, hitting all the senses to stimulate the emotional outcome that is a key ingredient for any well-respected, incentive gala recognizing its star sales team.

We maintained the theme “250 Years of Hawaiian Fashion History” and held the event at the same location. This event was for a small group and we managed to cut where needed: such as the dinner entertainment, special guest appearances, and adjustments to the catwalk (no butterflies!). Although we had to do more with less, we didn’t skimp on style and pulled off an incredible experience for the Client the second time around.
